Date: 29th July 2017
Saturday 29th July 2017 starting at 0830 from the layby at Luiblea on the A86 by Loch Laggan.
This is a level 3 walk of about 26 km taking in the three Munros of Beinn a'Chlachair, Geal Charn and Creag Pitridh and should take us between 8 and 10 hours.
There is an excellent track leading into these three isolated Munros which lie to the south of Loch Laggan. Beinn a'Chlachair will be tackled first across pathless boggy ground before a steep, rocky descent takes us across to Geal Charn. Creag Pitridh looks very steep from this viewpoint but it's a fairly quick and straightforward ascent before the boggy descent back to the inward path and then the 6 km walk back to the car.
We will meet at 0900 in the layby on the south side of the A86 opposite Luiblea which is about 1 km passed Moy Lodge, Tulloch, Roy Bridge, PH31 4AR
Previous clients have stayed overnight at the nearby Hostel at Tulloch, www.stationlodge.co.uk Other accomodation is available in Roybridge.
Cost is only £30 per person (maximum group size is 8)
