Saturday 6th October 2018 Meeting at 0830 at the car park at the Creag Meagaidh Nature Reserve on the north side of the A86, opposite Loch Laggan. The postcode for sat navs is PH20 1BX.
This is a level 4 walk due to the distance. 21km in length with approximately 1100m of ascent which should take between 8 and 10 hours to complete.
We will tackle the three Munros of Stob Poite a'Choire Ardair, Carn Liath and Creag Meagaidh that are high on this massive mountains plateau. During the traverse you will see some of the best ice climbing cliffs in Scotland and the beautiful Coire Ardair with it's lovely feature, The Window, which allows us to descend steeply from the plateau down into the coire itself and back out to the car park.
