Date: 15th September 2019
Sunday 15th September 2019 meeting at 0830. A Level 3 walk with a total distance of about 18 km, with 1350m of ascent and usually taking between 7 and 9 hours.
Stob Coir'an Albannaich and Meall nan Eun are the two lesser visited Munros in Glen Etive, rather overshadowed by their grand neighbour, Ben Starav, and the classic peaks of Glen Coe to the North. This route is a bit boggy underfoot at the start and end of the walk, one for the gaiters really, but once up on the hill they transform into fine, rocky hills and are very enjoyable.
We will meet at 0830 in the Glencoe Ski Centre car park, PH49 4HZ where we will get into as few cars as possible before driving into Glen Etive as parking is very limited at the start\finish of our route.
There are a large variety of accommodation options available in nearby Glencoe with the www.clachaig.com nearby www.redsquirrelcampsite.co.uk as well as B&B's, private Hostel www.glencoehostel.co.uk and the SYHA where you can use my code King-19 for 10% discount.
Cost is only £35 per person (maximum group size is 8)
Why not make a weekend of it and join us for Ben Starav and the remaining Glen Etive Munros on Saturday - https://www.kingdomguides.co.uk/product/ben-starav
